The Frank Sandell Coaching Schools and Grand Prix Series are acknowledged as the largest in the UK with each tournament having at least 100 entrants and the coaching school seeing between 150 and 200 members each week. The decision by Peradon to sponsor the Grand Prix series for the last two years is a clear signal that junior snooker is being acknowledged as the future of cue-sport in general.

The Frank Sandell Grand Prix Series is now in its 19th season and is bigger than ever.

The Grand Prix  has seen many players go on to become professional players. Past tournament winners who have gone on to play professionally include Paul Sweeny,  Matthew Bray  and Daniele Zagoroli. Others include former Swiss Champion Darren Parris. The most successful however is obviously Allison Fisher, who has since gone on to win 7 World Ladies Snooker titles and three 9-Ball World titles.

Players who have come through the Frank Sandell Coaching School and Grand Prix Series have won numerous county and town championships and many represent their counties at billiards and snooker at junior and senior level. Read about this year's successes on the Latest page.
